The Class 7A, Area 6 all-area team was recognized Feb. 5.
Three players from the Hewitt-Trussville High School girls basketball team were named to the Class 7A, Area 6 all-area team. Jordan Hunter, Erica Jones and Amiya Payne were recognized for their performance throughout the season.
Other all-area team members included Mountain Brook’s Ann Vandevelde and Ellie Dayhuff; Vestavia Hills’ Anna Wood, Emma Smith and Alison Stubbs; and Spain Park’s Sarah Ashlee Barker, Camille Chase, Avery Masdon and Mackenzie Culpepper.
The Lady Huskies finished the season with a 19-9 record.
