Merritt Daniel finishes second at state golf tournament
Hewitt-Trussville junior Merritt Daniel finished second at the Class 7A girls state golf tournament, shooting a tournament-low 69 in the final round for a two-day total of 142, seven strokes behind champion Klare Jamison of Grissom. Read more

Huskies boys soccer makes first final four trip
Hewitt-Trussville boys soccer made program history reaching the Class 7A final four before falling to Bob Jones 3-2 in overtime. The girls finished 13-5-3, with seniors Ella Cane and Kate Willoughby signing to play college soccer. Read more
