The Alabama Sports Writers Association released its weekly high school football poll Wednesday morning.
Hewitt-Trussville rose a spot to No. 6 in Class 7A. The Huskies ran away from Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa in the second half to win 37-16.
Clay-Chalkville rose to the No. 2 ranking in 6A after its open week.
This week, Hewitt-Trussville travels to Pinson Valley in non-region action. Clay-Chalkville will head to Thompson for an appealing matchup.
