The Alabama Sports Writers Association released its weekly high school football poll Wednesday morning.
After the first week of games, Hewitt-Trussville is ranked No. 7 in Class 7A. The Huskies dominated J.A.G. 50-6 in the opener.
Clay-Chalkville holds the No. 3 ranking in 6A after beating Hueytown 28-7.
This week, Hewitt-Trussville hosts Gadsden City and Clay-Chalkville plays Ramsay on Thursday.
