Q: What inspired you to work in education?
A: I found that I really enjoyed working with kids, and I really enjoyed just helping them out. But more than that, I found that it was probably the best way that I could continue what I’m passionate about the most, and it’s just helping the country.
Q: What’s something great about your school?
A: The thing that I think is great is that we grow leaders. Every school is tasked with educating students, but what I find here at Hewitt-Trussville is that the community and the leadership in the community invests into the school, and as a result, our students get an opportunity to learn how to lead.
Q: Tell us something about you that most people might not know.
A: While I’m a father and a husband and a principal, when in my household, I do all the cooking, and it’s kind of a hobby. I spend time with my girls, like teaching them things like traveling, but I do all the cooking in the household just about.
