KNOW Weekend, a conference hosted by First Baptist Church Trussville, is scheduled for March 2-3 will be held from 4-7 p.m.
During the event, participants will engage in the study of God's Word, aimed at deepening their understanding of the faith and learning to defend it.
Dr. Jamie Dew, President of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, will be welcomed as the guest speaker.
The event is free of charge, although registration is encouraged for logistical purposes. Dinner and childcare services will be provided.
The topics to be covered include:
- The Relevancy of Christianity - Is Christianity relevant in today’s world? Is it outdated?
- The Existence of God - Does God really exist?
- Deity & Sufficiency of Christ - Is Christ the only way?
- Problem of Evil - If God is good why do bad things happen?
- Life After Death - Is Heaven Real? What happens when we die?
