Furoshiki craft with Virginia Brasher
to
Trussville Public Library 201 Parkway Drive, Trussville, Alabama
Join us virtually as Virginia Brasher teaches us the fine art of Furoshiki! Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese cloth that is used to wrap gifts, wine bottles, and other objects. The beautifully decorated cloths are considered a gift in and of themselves and can be used over and over again. In this version of this project, we will use supplies to stamp our own cloth, then use our cloth to learn how to wrap various items. The video for this program will be accessible on the Library's website (Adult Department page) for a short time after the event!
Supply craft bags will be provided for this program, so sign-up is REQUIRED. You will be notified by phone or e-mail when your supply craft bag is ready to be picked up curbside at the library.
