“Losing weight and getting healthy is hard, but it doesn’t have to be!” says Allison Johnson, Certified Health Coach and owner of Thrive Coaching. She believes no matter your weight, age, health conditions, life stage or current fitness level, you can lose weight, get healthy and live your best life.
She offers customized health and nutrition coaching for individuals and small groups; corporate wellness programs; one-on-one virtual coaching calls; daily nutrition lessons; and healthy habits workshops. Her goal is to help busy professionals lose weight, build strength, increase energy and improve overall health and wellness.
Johnson, who struggled with her own weight and health issues for years, knows how frustrating it is when diets and exercise just don’t work. “We focus on a sustainable approach to healthy living by changing or adjusting your habits to achieve your goals for a healthier lifestyle. There are no insane diets, restrictive eating or hours in the gym,” she says about her program.
Johnson, also known as Coach AJ, says a positive attitude also has a huge impact on health and wellness, and her coaching is centered on positivity. If her client has a rough week and doesn’t quite get where they wanted to be, there’s no blame or judgement. She will figure out something that works better. It’s all about what works for each person individually. And as a former UCA All-Star cheerleader, she says, “If I can’t motivate you to achieve your health goals and enjoy the journey, no one can!”
