Relocations and Renovations
Winn-Dixie, 465 Main St., in Trussville held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 20 to unveil its newly-remodeled store. According to the Trussville Tribune, the location now offers an improved produce department with organic varieties, an enhanced self-serve hot bar for easy lunches and dinners, expanded seafood and bakery departments and additional offerings, and new self-checkout lanes. New Ownership
Massey Asphalt Paving, 1426 U.S. 11, was recently sold to Florida-based Atlantic Southern Paving and Sealcoating. Owner Trey Massey told the Trussville Tribune the company will retain its name and normal operations. 205-467-6514
Peoples Bank of Alabama, 305 Main St., has acquired the former Union State Bank location in Trussville. According to the Birmingham Business Journal, it will be the fifth location in Jefferson County for Peoples Bank. 205-661-6900

Jason Badyrka
