Huskies softball appears in national rankings

Coming off the 2019 Class 7A state championship, the Hewitt-Trussville High School softball team began the 2020 season on a high note. After winning four of their first five games, the Huskies checked in at No. 7 nationally in the USA Today/NFCA rankings, released March 5. The Huskies were the highest-ranked team from the state of Alabama, followed by Spain Park at No. 8. As of March 12, Hewitt-Trussville boasted a 12-1-1 record.
