The highly-anticipated annual Valentine’s Auction at Hewitt-Trussville High School once again proved highly successful, raising nearly $8,500 for charity.

The Feb. 12 event raised money through a bid process that results in school-based “dates” held during Husky Hour. The bid process generates money for operating expenses and charities, with the 2021 charitable beneficiaries being Dancers Against Cancer and The WellHouse.

The gymnasium serves as the Valentine’s Auction date-site, with food prepared by the school’s Culinary Arts Academy.
