Trussville City Schools hosts Perennial Math Tournament

Trussville City Schools hosted the Perennial Math Tournament at Cahaba Elementary on April 27. There were a total of 281 competitors from various schools in grades 3-8 in the tournament.

TCS had several teams and an individual place. They were invited to participate in the Perennial Math Virtual National championship with other winners from around the country in May.

Magnolia Elementary fifth-grader Anay Patel placed third out of 99 fifth-grade participants. Cahaba Elementary’s fourth-grade team placed third out of 20 teams, the HTMS sixth-grade team placed third out of nine teams and the HTMS eighth-grade team placed second out of three teams.
