Theatre students visit New York City

Spring break was exciting for Hewitt-Trussville Middle and High School Theatre Arts students, as they traveled to New York City to see Broadway shows and tour the city. In addition to seeing “Aladdin,” “The Lion King” and “The Play That Goes Wrong,” students got to meet Birmingham native Brandon McCall — who plays Simba in “The Lion King” — and have a 30-minute talk-back with the actors who play Mufasa, Scar, Pumba and Banzai.
