TCS names spelling bee champion

Christiana Callens, a fifth-grade student from Magnolia Elementary School, won the Trussville City Schools district spelling bee.

Callens was a contestant in the district spelling bee, along with Braxton Bennefield (Hewitt-Trussville Middle), Lauren Melton (Paine Elementary) and Ford Rotenberry (Cahaba Elementary).
