Table tennis team places in state

HTMS's table tennis team finished 2nd in the state in the middle school division. The state tournament was held at the Trussville Student Services facility with both middle and high school team competing.

Team members included: (A-Team) Seth Hacker, Carson Treglown, Ryan Stauffer; (B-Team) Josh Blake, Andrew Jones and Will Jackson.

HTMS finished second to Berry Middle School by a score of 2 to 1. In the deciding game, #1 seed Seth Hacker lost to Berry’s #1 seed by a score of 21-18. Each match consisted of three games played to 21. This was HTMS's only loss in the tournament. HTMS B-Team finished third in the Middle School B-Team division.
