Paws for a Cause celebrates teachers

The 2017 Paws for a Cause Gala was held on Aug. 26 at the Trussville Civic Center. The gala is an annual fundraiser for the Trussville City Schools Foundation.

The evening included dinner, bingo and giveaways, as well as awards for some of Trussville’s educators.

The Gala winners included Eddie Seal, Volunteer Excellence in Service Award; Katie Riggins, Athletic Excellence in Service Award; and Josh Haynes, Education Excellence in Service Award.
