Magnolia Elementary begins recycling effort

The students at Magnolia Elementary School have begun recycling efforts after 4th and 5th grade classes last year researched the impact of plastic waste on the planet.

The students created the program and volunteered their time to collect recycling each week. The Magnolia PTO and Santek provided recycling bins, while Principal Autumm Jeter and technology integration specialist Lauren Long supported the recycling efforts.
