JV scholars bowl team advances to state

The HTHS JV Scholars Bowl team won its pool and will advance to its first appearance in the ASCA JV State Tournament. This is the first time the Hewitt-Trussville High School has achieved this.

The team had some huge wins against tough opponents such as the Altamont School and Southside High School. Congratulations to J.P. Campbell, Jacob Copham, Evan Moore and Katie Powell for this achievement, as well as coach Josh Haynes. The state tournament was held on Feb. 24 in Hoover.
