HTHS student to spend year in Germany

Hewitt-Trussville High School student Samantha Kalchik has been selected to receive the U.S. Department of State's Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange High School Scholarship for the 2019-2020 school year.

She will be a citizen ambassador in Germany, living with a host family and attending a German high school this school year.
