Congressman Gary Palmer (AL-06) announced ribbon recipients in the Sixth District’s 2018 Congressional Art Competition.

Among them was Hewitt-Trussville High School student Abigail Donovan. She was one of nine ribbon recipients out of 64 students who participated in the contest from high schools around the district.

First place went to Grace Varner from Hoover High School, while Payton Hays of Evangel Christian School took second and Bailey Gosdin of Leeds High School placed third. The participants’ artwork was on display for a week at Riverchase Galleria.
