HTHS JV Scholars Bowl wins 1st place

The Hewitt-Trussville High School junior varsity Scholars Bowl team recently finished in first place at the West Point High School Winter Quiz Bowl JV Invitational. The team defeated the Altamont School and finished the day with a 6-1 record.

Juliana Eberhardt, a sophomore, led the team in scoring with 58 points per game. Sarah Prince, Wei Wei Guo, Laura Phillips and Madison Morris also made contributions in helping the team bring home the first-place trophy. This is the first all-girls team HTHS has had.
