Cahaba Elementary School’s Mathletes earn awards

Cahaba Elementary School’s Mathletes earned second place at the Perennial Math Competition at Birmingham Southern College.

The Cahaba team’s students included Connor Grguric, Parker Dotson, Jack Woodward, Quinn Miller and Ren Peterson. Coaches are Monica Bramlett and Stephanie Wilkerson, and the team mentor is Lisa Lothspiech.

Students from Paine Elementary placed third in the competition.

Next stop for the Cahaba team is the National Competition.
