On Jan. 28, with Cahaba Elementary School second graders ready and waiting, five second grade teachers, Principal Joy Tyner, Assistant Principal Stephanie Rosetta and Superintendent Pattie Neill cut the ribbon on new classrooms.

TCS facilities department, teachers, and volunteers have moved into the new area. The storm shelter and additional classrooms are still under construction and should be ready before the end of the school year.

Second grade students loved the new rooms and celebrated with doughnuts.
