Golf Tips magazine has named Alabama-based PGA teaching professional Wayne Flint one of the Top 25 Instructors in America for 2019-2020.

Based at Highland Park Golf Course in Birmingham, Flint — a two-time PGA Dixie Section Teacher of the Year — joins two dozen of the nation’s most respected and lauded teachers to form what editor Vic Williams calls “the ultimate teaching team,” who will bring their extensive instruction and coaching knowledge to the bi-monthly, nationally distributed print magazine and a fast-growing online readership at golftipsmag.com.

Working with the Golf Tips editorial and digital staffs, Top 25 Instructors will provide well-illustrated, detailed tips and lessons, as well as video content, for all aspects of the game — from fundamentals to course management, equipment fitting to the mental game.

“After months of researching and vetting an incredibly rich field of candidates for our new Top 25, we believe we’ve come up with an inaugural collection of the best and brightest minds in the American golf teaching business,” Williams says. “Since 1989, Golf Tips has built a strong reputation as the go-to source for straightforward, accessible and indispensable instruction for golfers of all ages and abilities. The new Top 25 will only deepen that reputation while helping our readers enjoy the game more than ever. We are proud to include Wayne in the Golf Tips Top 25 family.”

Over the month of November 2018, new Top 25 Instructors were introduced at golftipsmag.com each weekday, as well as on Twitter @golftipsmag and at Golf Tips Magazine on Facebook.

The January-February 2019 of the Golf Tips print edition will include a special Top 25 section.
