Trussville Beautification Award Winners Announced
The winners of this year’s Trussville Beautification Awards have been announced.
Taking the prize for first place awards were the following:
- Charlotte and Keith Gibson - Best Landscape Design
- Regina Freeman - Best Turf
- Gordon Garrett - Best Use of Color
- Joshua Cox - Best Homeowner Maintained
- Carroll Pharmacy - Best Business
Second place winners were:
- Stuart Garner - Best Landscape Design
- Lloyd and Jean Martin - Best Turf
- Gene Dennis - Best Homeowner Maintained
- Deerfoot Memorial - Best Business
Carroll Pharmacy earned a Lifetime Achievement Award for winning Best Business three years in a row.
Congratulations to all of this year’s winners and contestants. This year’s judges were Master Gardeners Jim Small and Harold and Nancy Deason.
Also, the Board would like to thank Stacy Frazier, the driver for the day, and Councilman Perry Cook for their help in making this year’s event a big success.
