Pine Straw Sale benefitting

Boy Scout Troop 216, chartered by Trussville Parks & Recreation, is having their annual fundraising event selling pine straw on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at RealtySouth.

The pine straw is genuine long leaf from Georgia. Longleaf pine straw is considered the best variety of straw for landscaping. One bale covers 30-50 square feet. The price for pickup is $4.75 a bail, and the price for delivery is $5.50 a bale. There's a five-bale minimum. To pre-order, email troop0216@gmail.com and reference a specific scout if applicable.
