The Trussville Public Library on May 5 dedicated its auditorium as the Lindsey Blaine Kelley Memorial Auditorium. Kelley died Jan. 10, 2020, at age 36 after a battle with cancer.

The plaque ceremony included Kelley’s family, Trussville city officials and the Trussville Library Board.

The plaque states, “We dedicate the auditorium to the memory of LBK who came in the back door every day prepared to share her generosity and enthusiasm with each patron and every coworker. May this space serve to remind us of all that she did for the library and all that she meant to us.”
