The 10th annual food-sampling event Taste of Trussville, hosted by the Trussville-Area Chamber of Commerce, will be 5:30-8 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Trussville Civic Center.

Because it will focus almost solely on culinary offerings within the Trussville community, the name of the event has been slightly modified from TASTE, an acronym for Trussville Art Show and Tasting Event, to Taste of Trussville.

Food vendors interested in showcasing their creations can submit an application through the chamber’s website before the Sept. 19 deadline.

In addition to updating the moniker of the event, ticket prices are receiving a $10 reduction.

Those interested in tasting dishes from eateries throughout the Trussville area can purchase advance tickets at the chamber office for $15 on or before Sept. 26. Tickets are also available at the door for $25 each.

“We want the event to be affordable and hope people will come to see what our fabulous restaurants and bakeries have to offer,” said Diane Poole, chamber executive director.

To purchase tickets or for more information, stop by the chamber office at 400 Main St., visit trussvillechamber.com or call 655-7535.
