Women in Business: Frances Knox - LAH Real Estate

by

For Frances Knox, working in real estate just makes sense. She enjoys what she does, the way it’s done and the people she gets to work with.

“The ‘real’ in real estate is people,” Frances said, noting that in her work with LAH Real Estate.

Building good rapport is a skill she’s been honing for a long time, ever since she made her first sale as a little girl peddling a box of American Seeds in Greenville, Alabama. She had asked her parents for a cat, and instead of buying the kitten for her, they encouraged her to earn the money herself.

She did — she worked hard selling seeds, and she bought that kitten. And from a very early age, there’s been heart behind every sale she’s made.

“I have always had an interest in sales and chose to mesh that with my desire to help others achieve the ‘American dream,’” said Frances, who has worked in real estate since 1986.

And even though purchasing a home is a much more involved process than selling seeds, she’s got 32 years of experience and the skills to help put clients at ease.

“There are a lot of details and several moving parts that make up each transaction,” Frances said, noting that the magnitude of the process can intimidate people sometimes.

But she is highly organized, detail-oriented and ready to help. She says it’s her pleasure to assist buyers and sellers with the single largest investment they own — their home.

“It’s a job that I don’t take lightly, and I am always striving to improve the quality of my services,” Frances said. “My client’s transaction is managed through my Exclusive Buyer and Seller Systems, which include constant communication.”

This setup ensures a smooth transaction, she said. She is committed to being transparent with her clients and attributes her success to that transparency.

“My guarantee is whether you are buying or selling, you will be ‘Sold on Service,’” Frances said. #KnoxIsTheKey
