Urgent Care For Children celebrates opening of second location

Urgent Care for Children celebrated the opening of its second location with a ribbon cutting and open house in September. Their other location is on Cahaba Park Circle, just off U.S. 280 in Birmingham.

At the ribbon cutting ceremony, Dr. Amrik Walia, president, and Dr. Allury Arora, COO, thanked their physicians, their employees, the City of Trussville, the Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce and a number of friends and family who were on-hand to celebrate the clinic’s opening. Walia said they have received a warm welcome from the City of Trussville, confirming their decision to open a second location there.

Also on-hand for the ceremony were Trussville Mayor Buddy Choat, Council President Alan Taylor, Councilmen Perry Cook and Zack Steele, TACC Executive Director Diane Poole, TACC Board President Jeremy Tuggle, TACC Board Member Ian Maddox and Chamber Ambassadors Donna Lowery, Natalie Norton, Deanne Schrecongost, Leann Streetman and Meagan Welch.

The clinic address is 117 N. Chalkville Road in Trussville. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 2-10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. They are open every day of the year, but holiday hours may be different.
