Trussville YMCA receives matching donation for tennis fundraiser

The Trussville YMCA recently received a donation of $2,500 from Modern Woodmen Financial. Modern Woodmen Financial, a nonprofit insurance company, supports local communities through service projects such as the third annual YMCA tennis Rally for a Cause fundraiser.

The company matched the proceeds from the fundraiser in the amount of $2,500. The money raised by the tennis event will be used to support local families by sending kids to camps, swim lessons, after-school academy and healthy living classes such as diabetes prevention and cancer support groups.
