Lee Marlow- Women of Trussville

RealtySouth agent Lee Marlow loves her city. 

“My favorite part of what I do is promoting Trussville,” she said. “I’ve lived here 18 years now, and I’m always thrilled to be the one to introduce newcomers to the town I love.” 

She also knows the value of a strong school system, and how it affects the market. “I love our school system and all it has to offer every kind of student, from athletics to band to theater and everything in between. I’m a huge proponent for Trussville City Schools.” 

She’s been with RealtySouth for 12 years after staying home with her three daughters, who she considers her biggest successes. 

“I think my business has been successful because all my clients talk to me (not an assistant) throughout the process. I’ve chosen to do it that way. I also stay involved in the community and the schools, and I’ve had countless clients tell me they view me as being like them — a real, regular person.” 

Remaining knowledgeable about the rules is another challenge. “Our regulations are constantly changing,” she said. “At this job, you have to want to be a problem-solver — devising ways to keep the buyer and seller happy — overcoming objections and constant hurdles, to ultimately make it to the closing table.” 

Always with RealtySouth, Marlow said her consistency in staying put has been good for her career. She lists and sells homes on Birmingham’s eastern side, including Trussville, Leeds, Moody, Argo, Pinson, Clay and Springville.
