ACE Cheer Company- Women of Trussville
ACE Cheer Company of Trussville is in its third year of coaching for tumbling, gymnastics, all-star cheerleading, competitive gymnastics, preschool classes, services to school teams and facilities for camps and birthday parties.
“We call ourselves the ‘Tribe Family,’” said director Tiffanie Reed. “We love providing a second home for the athletes. Our goal is to give athletes the tools to be successful both on the floor and off, and we take much pride in that.”
ACE is a nationally and internationally recognized leader in the cheerleading industry, but now is carving a niche in competitive gymnastics and an early start program for children as young as 10 months.
“Our gym is a community-based gym, offering additional services to families around Trussville and surrounding areas,” Reed said. “We’re not just a competitive program, and we want to show that tumbling is good conditioning for everyone and any sport.”
One challenge they have faced is meshing their cheerleading and gymnastics programs — two very different sports. “Now, it’s great to see our cheerleaders cheer for the gymnasts and gymnasts cheer for our cheerleaders,” Reed said.
Successes include: 240 first-place finishes last season with the gymnastics team and the 2015 UCA International Championship with our competitive all-star team, plus a host of other championship titles. All of this could not be done without the awesome staff in our program like these beautiful ladies!
