Monday marks 46 days until the Hewitt-Trussville High School football team kicks off the 2025 season.
Hewitt-Trussville running back Deuce Alston will lead his team onto the field Aug. 22, as the Huskies host J.A.G. at Hewitt-Trussville Stadium to get things started.
Alston, entering his senior season, had a standout 2024 campaign. The Huskies won several games in blowout fashion, limiting Alston's touches, but he still rushed for 670 yards and eight touchdowns on the year. Hewitt-Trussville will look to make a deeper playoff run this fall, coming off a first-round playoff loss in an 8-3 season.
