The Alabama Sports Writers Association released its weekly high school football poll Wednesday morning.
Hewitt-Trussville and Clay-Chalkville remained in the same spot in the polls this week. Hewitt-Trussville stayed at No. 8 in Class 7A, while Clay-Chalkville stayed at No. 5 in 6A.
This week, Hewitt-Trussville takes an open date ahead of the playoffs. Clay-Chalkville heads to Vestavia Hills on Friday to wrap up the regular season.
