The weekly Alabama Sports Writers Association high school football poll was released Wednesday morning.
Hewitt-Trussville rose a spot, jumping to No. 5 in the Class 7A after knocking off Tuscaloosa County last week.
Clay-Chalkville remains the top-ranked 6A team after a 10th straight win.
Both teams are off this week ahead of the playoffs.
