The Alabama Sports Writers Association released its weekly high school football poll Wednesday morning.
Hewitt-Trussville dropped a spot to No. 8 in Class 7A despite a 63-0 win over Oak Mountain. Clay-Chalkville dropped three spots to No. 5 following its first loss of the season at Oxford.
This week, the Huskies head to Tuscaloosa County and Clay-Chalkville plays at Pinson Valley, as both teams wrap up region play.
