The weekly Alabama Sports Writers Association high school football poll was released Wednesday morning.
Hewitt-Trussville reversed the trend of the last couple weeks, and rose a spot this week in Class 7A. The Huskies are now No. 6 in the poll after beating Oak Mountain.
In 6A, Clay-Chalkville remained the No. 1 team once again after a win over Oxford.
This week, the Huskies host Tuscaloosa County and Clay-Chalkville hosts Pinson Valley.
