The Alabama Sports Writers Association released its weekly high school football poll Wednesday morning.
Hewitt-Trussville jumped two spots in the Class 7A poll, rising to No. 7 this week. Clay-Chalkville remained No. 2 in the 6A poll.
This week, Clay-Chalkville travels to Oxford with the Region 6 title on the line. Hewitt-Trussville hosts Oak Mountain.
