The weekly Alabama Sports Writers Association high school football poll was released Wednesday morning.
Hewitt-Trussville fell a few spots to No. 7 in Class 7A after a second straight loss. Clay-Chalkville is still the top-ranked team in 6A after improving to 8-0.
This week, Hewitt-Trussville plays at Oak Mountain and Clay-Chalkville hosts Oxford.
