The Alabama Sports Writers Association released its weekly high school football poll Wednesday morning.
Hewitt-Trussville fell four spots in Class 7A to No. 9. The Huskies fell to Thompson 15-10 last Friday.
Clay-Chalkville remained at No. 2 in 6A after holding off Mountain Brook in a 21-14 win.
This week, Hewitt-Trussville hosts Prattville, while Clay-Chalkville plays at home against Huffman on Friday.
