The weekly Alabama Sports Writers Association high school football poll was released Wednesday morning.
Clay-Chalkville remains at No. 1 in the Class 6A poll after a dominant victory over Mountain Brook.
Hewitt-Trussville's run at No. 1 will last only one week, as the Huskies drop to No. 4 after losing to Thompson.
Both teams are back in action Friday, with Clay heading to Huffman and Hewitt traveling to Prattville.
