The Alabama Sports Writers Association released its weekly high school football poll Wednesday morning.
After the second week of games, Hewitt-Trussville is ranked No. 6 in Class 7A. The Huskies rose one spot over last week after blowing past Gadsden City 42-14 last week.
Clay-Chalkville holds the No. 3 ranking in 6A after blowing out Ramsay 62-7.
This week, Hewitt-Trussville heads to Vestavia Hills in the Under the Lights Game of the Week. Clay-Chalkville travels to Pell City.
