The weekly Alabama Sports Writers Association high school football poll was released Wednesday morning.
Hewitt-Trussville and Clay-Chalkville have been a consistent presence in the top half of the Class 7A and 6A poll, respectively, and that has continued into the 2025 season.
Hewitt-Trussville rose one spot to No. 4 in this week's 7A poll, after improving to 2-0 with a win over Gadsden City.
Clay-Chalkville remained at No. 2 in 6A after a 64-0 thrashing of Ramsay.
