Trussville City School students visited Montgomery in February to see their artwork displayed at the state superintendent’s Visual Arts Exhibit.
On Feb. 13, students from Hewitt-Trussville Middle School, Paine Elementary and Magnolia Elementary were able to travel to Montgomery to see their artwork displayed in the state superintendent’s Visual Arts Exhibit.
Students met with State Sen. Jim McClendon and were given a special and unique tour of the Senate Floor. This included Samantha McMahon and Ashley Rodgers from the middle school; Addison Chrisenberry and Evie Andrews from Magnolia Elementary; and Kate Armstrong and Gracey Duncan from Paine Elementary.
Cahaba students Keaton Jones and Kyle Jones, plus Hewitt-Trussville High School students Hunter Raush, Hayley Mikell, Sarah Callahan and Javier Gonzalez had artwork on display as well.
