Paine Elementary submitted three students’ work to the dreamArchitecture “Draw Your Dream School” competition.
Paine Elementary fifth grader Sydni Williams won first place overall for the recent dreamArchitecture program, “Draw Your Dream School.”
The competition is sponsored by the Alabama Center for Architecture and challenged students to create their ideal school.
Williams’ school design was called the Recycling School of Arts.
Paine third grader Sarah Thomas won third place overall with her creation of a school for the visually impaired, using braille to label the rooms and textured items to distinguish different areas of her school.
