The HTMS bands’ awards from the Southern Star Music Festival.
The Hewitt-Trussville Middle School bands recently participated in the Southern Star Music Festival.
The Honors Band was named Sweepstakes winner for the middle school division and Grand Champion of the instrumental division, which included both middle and high school bands. The Honors Band also brought home three gold ratings.
The Symphonic Band also brought home three gold ratings, and Concert Bands I and II each earned three silver ratings.
