Cahaba Elementary School was notified recently that second grade teacher Lisa Rish was selected for the University of Alabama 2019 Award for Excellence in Cross-Disciplinary Teaching.
The awards program was established to recognize exemplary teachers’ efforts to make learning engaging, interactive and memorable for students.
Rish will receive a plaque and certificate.
