Hewitt-Trussville Middle School 8th grade student Garrett Grady recently won the school-wide National Geographic Geography Bee.
After the school bee, Grady joins other school-level winners in taking a test to see if he qualifies for the statewide bee, to be held at Samford University this spring.
The National Geographic Bee is an annual contest for students in grades 4-8 to test their history, culture and world knowledge, sponsored by the National Geographic Society.
