TriaVision may be a new name, but our roots in Trussville run very deep. Our dedicated eye care specialists have served this community for over 15 years and provided expert care to generations of families.
We officially opened our doors as TriaVision in July, keeping the same trusted doctors here in Trussville while expanding to 11 locations across Alabama.
If you’ve lived in Trussville or Centerville, you probably already know Dr. Jeff Chaiprakob. He’s spent his career caring for patients in this area, first in private practice, then at UAB, and now at TriaVision. His patients trust him deeply because of his dedication and passion for comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract care.
Dr. Chaiprakob is joined by Dr. Hogan Knox, a highly skilled glaucoma and cataract surgeon, and Dr. Sarah Berry, an experienced optometrist specializing in dry-eye treatment. She uses cutting-edge therapies like Prokera and CAM 360 to bring long-term relief to those suffering from chronic dry eye.
At TriaVision, we’re more than an eye care practice — we’re part of the Trussville community. Our team of 10 ophthalmologists and 5 optometrists includes world-renowned specialists who’ve worked together for over 20 years.
We’re home to Alabama’s largest group of glaucoma specialists and have performed over 120,000 cataract surgeries. Every year, we see more than 70,000 patients and complete over 7,500 surgical procedures.
TriaVision’s approach goes beyond traditional methods to include the newest diagnostic equipment and surgical techniques, making sure our patients receive the most advanced eye care available.
It’s also our mission to empower our patients through proactive eye care and prevention, meticulous preservation of their vision and innovative restoration techniques.
We also customize our care to the needs of each person and strive to build lasting relationships with patients.
“At TriaVision, our goal is simple: to provide the best possible eye care for the Trussville community,” says Dr. Chaiprakob. “Whether you need a routine exam, cataract surgery or advanced glaucoma treatment, we’re here to help you protect and preserve your vision.”
No matter how our name has changed, our commitment to you remains the same. We look forward to continuing to serve Trussville families for years to come!
We’re open five days a week and are making it easier than ever to schedule an appointment.
